Join renowned guest instructor Lisa Colby for her Salt Spoon Workshop!

Learn how to hand fabricate a small salt or jam spoon out of sheet brass. Students will use a jewelers saw to cut out the shape of their spoon and use hammers, punches and a rolling mill to create surface textures.

Techniques employed in this spoon making class will be sawing, creating texture with hammers, stamps and rolling mill, dapping, sanding and filing.

 Each student will be able to create a finished spoon to take home at the end of the class.
