CUT & POLISH YOUR OWN CABOCHON

Learn how to transform rough stone into a beautifully finished cabochon in this hands-on workshop with Guest Instructor Dan Portale!

You’ll learn the fundamentals of selecting rough material, cutting, shaping, and polishing a cabochon using a professional CabKing polishing machine. Dan will guide you through the process and share tips for choosing rough stones with the best potential for cutting and finishing.

Each participant will cut and finish their own cabochon to take home at the end of the workshop.

Bring Your Own Rough:
Have a piece of rough stone you’ve been saving? Bring it along! A selection of rough materials will also be available for purchase and use during the workshop.
